Tryouts

Free player evaluations are conducted each May. Unlike our Recreational soccer league, the Classic team has limited roster spots, and so equal playing time is not guaranteed. Interested players must attend the annual tryouts in order to qualify for the team.

2024 - 2025 Travel Tryouts

Who: Birth years 2007-2013

When: Wed. May 22 & Thurs. May 23 from 6:00pm - 7:30pm

Where: Summey Park (Forest City Dunbar School)

Attendees must have shin guards, soccer ball and soccer cleats to tryout. Players also need to bring water.

Foothills FC Travel Soccer 2024-2025

The Foothills FC Travel soccer program is designed for players that want to perform at a high level in competitive soccer. The Travel teams we have available for the 2024-2025 soccer season are listed below.

Our philosophy is to emphasize each player's technical skill as well as building team chemistry so they can succeed in a competitive environment. Our Travel coaches have significant coaching and playing experience as well as a passion to share their knowledge & skill with the players of Foothills FC.

About the Program

Classic is the most competitive U12-U18 soccer program offered by RCSA. The goal of the Classic Program is to improve individual skills through high-level training and a more challenging playing environment led by dedicated coaches.

Classic coaches have significant coaching experience, playing experience, and a passion to share their skills with the children of Rutherford County. Our coaches are focused on player development.

Our U15-U18 Classic Program consists of one season. The Girls program runs from early August and goes through early December. The Boys program runs from Mid January and ends in May. Classic teams practice twice a week for 120 minute sessions.

Our U12-U14 Classic Program consists of two seasons. The first-half of the program runs from early August and goes through early December. The second-half runs from February and ends in May. Classic teams practice twice a week for 90 minute sessions.

Foothills FC Travel Fee

The Foothills FC fees are due when you accept a roster spot.

The price per player for Travel consists of the cost of coach's pay, state fees, referee fees, tournament fee (1), field maintenance, NCYSA registration and insurance.
(Please Note: Uniforms are purchased separately by the player. A link to the uniform company's website will be sent to each player once the team has enough players committed.)
