RCSA relies on volunteers like you to keep soccer programs available for our Rutherford County youth. Parents and community members are encouraged to get involved and volunteer! Whether your strength is soccer, organization skills, communication or photography, we would love to talk to you about how you can help. Please contact the RCSA if you are interested in volunteering!

The following are some of the volunteer positions we currently have available:

Recreation Coaches
All coaches and assistant coaches for our recreation league are volunteers. Previous coaching experience is not necessary. Coaches must enjoy working with children and have a basic knowledge of soccer.

We rely on volunteer coaches to teach young participants soccer skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love of the game.  Teams typically practice 1-2 times per week with 1-2 games per week.  Coaches schedule their own practice times.

Risk Management
All coaches and assistant coaches must complete "Risk Management" to work players.  This is a free background check through the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association and can be found at www.ncsoccer.org.  IT ONLY TAKES ABOUT 5 MINUTES!
